My name is Cristal, for some I go by Cris. I’d love to think that I became a therapist and healer by happenstance. However, that is not the case. Throughout many years of searching, un-leaning and re-learning, practicing, and “failing” forward - I keep being reminded of the simplicity of the wholeness that we already are. My passion is walking alongside you towards your soul’s purpose.

My aim is to work together towards your journey in gaining a deeper understanding of yourself and your experiences. Your unique story is approached with the desired goals and remembrance that can bring balance into your life. I offer a culturally humble and holistic approach along with evidence-based modalities as well as holistic modalities (teachings from Yoga, Reiki, and plant medicine) with the perspective of intersections of your identity in mind. This may include aspects of connecting the mind and body in therapy.

As a queer Black Latiné (bilingual and bicultural) parent, I believe therapy can be a powerful way to help you delve into the deep, inner work that helps one develop awareness of intergenerational cycles or patterns that may keep you stuck in the past and struggling to thrive in the present.

Workshops & Training

I offer workshops and training on mental health, specifically trauma healing. This can be presented through traditional presentations or movement. I incorporate a polyvagal theory approach, along with meditations, inner child work, exploring the chakra energy centers, and more.

Talk Therapy

1:1 sessions where we explore and work through themes and patterns that may be showing up and causing distress. Sessions may include but are not limited to evidence-based interventions, movement, breathwork, and meditation. One of the most important elements of treatment is the relationship in the co-creation of the space. You are the expert of your life experiences as we dive into what is going on mentally, emotionally, and spiritually

Energy Healing

Everything carries its own vibration, including our experiences, relationships, and thoughts. Reiki is one of many alternative methods that promotes spiritual, emotional, and physical healing. This specific practice founded in Japan by Mikao Usui, Reiki utilizes the universal life force to bring energetic balance. I am a level 2 practitioner
